Hi

I have a really old UK PAL Wii with a WiiKey installed, I think the firmware on the chip is 1.9G. The Wii firmware is 3.3E. For some reason I have two weather channels and two news channels on screen (they doulbled up ages ago when I updated using a NTSC Big Brain Academy disc) and have never been able to get rid of them.

My question is can I update my Wii over the LAN to the latest firmware or could it get bricked, does anyone know.

Cheers

Safest way is by wifi or lan and through the wii.
You should update your wiikey to 1.9s first though.
There is a duplicate channel remover out there as well now.
