Hi,

got very bad problems with my wii.

want to use my wii for the iso loader, because i want to try a backup of my zelda because the real one has many scratches and I don't want it to get broken..

Anyway, I want to install CIOS. Then there comes the message

patching custom ios, please wait...

>> Title patched successfully!!

Installing Custom IOS, please wait...
>> installing title... ERROR! (ret = - 1035)

Press any button to restart the Wii...

when I want to "uninstall CIOS" it says "ERROR! (ret = - 1017) "

what can I do ? My Wii is on firmware 3.0E, Pal, bought it december 20th in 2006... never built in a chip or something like that.

please help me! I asked in 5 german boards (sorry for my bad English, I'm german!) and noone has any answer, everyone says "you have to load my pack"... always looks different, but the error messages are always the same. I even tried different SD cards and formatted them from FAT to FAT32.. same problems!

I dont think it is installed. What other mods have you done/installed on the system. Also do you use the homebrew channel

I installed the hack for zelda.

I bought Mario Cart Wii so now I'm on 3.1E..

The hacks I installed.. hmm.. I thought I installed an old CIOS.. but nothing else, except the homebrew launcher, some virtual console games and that old cios. Or I tried installing a cios.. can't remember exactly!

I had this problem also, and it was caused by an old CIOS I had installed, the only way I could get rid of it was using Anytitle Deleter.

You can find it here http://wiibrew.org/wiki/AnyTitle_Deleter

I don't know which IOS's you can delete because I don't know what you have installed. Maybe if you can post a list, someone can tell you which ones could be causing the problems.

I don't think it's important to know that, because I already forgot it, well, I think it was 2or3 months ago, and hell yeah, I didn't thought of what I did...:o

But I'm happy that I'm not the first one with the problem!

I'll give it a try now!

edit: I only installed one ios.. but I can't remember which one.. was one of the first, maybe just the first one that came out!

ok i know it now.

my cios is:

IOS37-64-v2070.wad

but I cant delete it! wether with the wad manager (i put it in wad and then it says error again when I tried to uninstall) nor with the original "cios37-rev_2-installer" (which only can INSTALL, but not UNINSTALL, the cios) :(

edit2

seems to be uninstalled..

thanks without your small help I never would have done with this ****.. you made me come to the idea to search my pc.. did it and found my old .wad cios.. then i searched uninstaller.. found many.. but only the first uninstaller that came out worked for me!!!

to be continued xD
