Hello,

I have my D2E wii moded with a D2pro 9.

anyway, I am working on creating custom guitar hero songs and inserting them into the GH3 iso.

I am following an updated but old guide on scorehero.com and I can recreate the ISO perfectly with all of their mindboggle-ing software. SO that isnt the problem. Since this GH3 hacking system seems to work with a trucha signer, and since I have a new Wii, the new burnt disc doesnt work. I was wondering if there was some way around the trucha block,or if there is a way to remove an inseted trucha sign, or something else I can do to get my editted GH3 iso to run (the original backup works fine). I am currently reading through the other forum's comments. But I am on page 27 out of 76 pages, so it is taking me a while to see if there is already a fix to this.... So i figure it wont hurt to ask at good ol' maxconsole!

Thanks,
Kris

Gecko OS can bypass trucha.

I've always heard of Gecko OS, but I have never messed with it... so it will let me play a game with a trucha sign on it? or do I "gecko sign" it instead of trucha and let me play modified Wii games?

GeckoOS is a homebrew application that runs from the homebrew channel it allows launching of out of region games, aswell as trucha signed games.

ok, so it isnt a whole sepperate OS....good...

So I just have to install the Homebrew channel... My Wii is modded... so is there an easier way to add this channel without having to do the whole Zelda thing? its a real pain. But if I have to use the Zelda hack, how do I know what "special" number is on the disc? Cause I am using a back up, and I dont have access to the original disc.

If you have 3.3 then no.

haha, you're a little late.. I just burnt and tried the installer disc, and it didnt work.. but thats ok.

Now I just have to figure out what Zelda disc my backup was... would it hurt to try with the other types? and doesnt the SD card have to FAT32?

***EDIT EDIT***

Nevermind.. I just kept reading around... I formated my card to FAT and installed the Homebrew with the Twilight hack... I ran Gecko Region free to play the trucha disc of GHIII custom... works! Well, I am having custom Guitar Hero issues, but that problem is for a different forum, haha.

I'd like to say thanks to all the guides!

Oh, is there, or does anyone know it they are planning a gecko RF channel? that would be better than having to have to use my camera's SD card all the time...(but I'll probably buy one just for the wii...)

Thanks,
DrLucky
