A few Questions About The Wii

Been lurking around here for a bit , just got a wii A few days ago.

drive chip is a GC2-D2C

Been wondering as far as i understand it , u need a Specific ld dvd burner to back up games correct?>? How about burning the actual back up? As i Have a young son so i dont want him damaging the original game . any help is appreciated.

yes you need a special dvd rom drive to copy the games you can find it at megaloot4u.com then use rawdump 2.0 to copy the games

to burn them you can use any burner I burn my games onto sony dvd-r at 4x and so only got 1 coaster out of about 30 games

thk u very much for the info . btw am i correct in my info that i need a d2pro9v2
for my specific wii? can anyone recomend anything better , as i prefer non solder as i dont trust people in my area.

D2Pro will work just fine, you could buy a clip with it or if you buy the soldering supplies and practice on and old cd player or pc motherboard it should only take about a week or so to get good enough to mod a Wii that's how I did mine
