guys please forgive this post am pulling my hair out here.if i update my m8s wii to 3.3e can i still use the twilight hack to install the homebrew channel and the the iso loader?

Why don't you install HBC using twilight BEFORE you upgrade to 3.3E?
makes thing a lot easier and still works after upgrade

tried to install HBC but would not let me as it said something about my ios not being up to date(021)i think.firmware on wii was 2.1e.

Just get the lastest version of TP hack. Supports 3.3X.

I had exactly the same problem.

Wii with 2.1e firmware (mainly played Wii sports etc.) and HBC would not install claiming I didn't have IOS21.

TP hack was working fine though, and I used it to run AnyTitleDeleter to see that I DID have IOS21 installed.

SOLUTION
========
Bought Super Mario Galaxy cheap on ebay and the Wii updated to 3.0E.

HBC channel then installed perfectly, no need for TP.

So, HBC channel installer needs more than just IOS21 installed, although Bushing says he doesn't really understand the problem in his forums.

Sold TP on ebay, currently enjoying SMG, as it's fun.
