View Full Version : Drive not spinning up

Wii drive takes in the disks, it sounds like the laser tries to read the disk but the disk won't spin up.

I read around, I'm wondering if it maybe a problem with the drive or the wii ?
I examined the drive, it seems to be fine except spinning the disk up, so could it be power not getting to the drive? I have checked all connections.

I also read about ppl bridging a fuse or something when they had drive troubles....
Could anyone kindly help me out here ?
I haven't installed a modchip,

Thanks.

it sounds like its your laser on its way out mate , nothing to do with the fuse, if it was a fuse it wouldn't take in any discs, your drive would just be dead.
