LoH and KoP on 512?

Hi I would like to know if Kingdom of Paradise and Legend Of Heroes could fit on a 512MB stick. What's the original sizes of them and are they ripable? Thanks in advance. :)

My LoH rip is about 600 something MB (at work right now, cant check) and I think the original size for KoP is 1.01GB... so that one would def need a ripkit...

Im trying to rip something out of the PSP_GAME/USRDIR/GVF_DAT.BIN file (its around 620mb) but it keep on freezing.

Yeah Jubal how?? And does it work good? The lowest I've seen KOP is 502 MB.

Could someone please point me in the direction of a 400-500MB KoP rip, as all the ones I can find are greater than a gig, and hence useless to me! :rolleyes:

Either that, or if anyone has a ripkit for it I'd be grateful. I've tried the usual places, but can't seem to find one.

Dummy the movies in the usrdir\mdata folder and the usa folder under that. then dummy the update folder under sysdir. voila.

Also, you can use something like pmf player for psp to watch the vids. But instead of dummying the videos you should just stick the game boot pmf (the one from when you start up a game) instead of dummys so you know when you need to watch a video in pmf player. You get it? :confused:

The best i can do with Legend Of Heroes is the size 595mb since most of the games contents are in big single files that i can't open its hard to tell what to rip out beides the update folder and the eboot.bin there are really two folders, one has the prx's and the other has two files GVF_DAT.bin(witch must have the contents of the game and the smaller of the two GVF_TBL.bin this file is really small maybe its the table for the GVF_DAT.bin. the only way to make this smaller is to open these files and see if there can be stuff ripped out and relinked.

how do you open the .bin file? it is possible.. but are there any public tools out there that allow you to do so? groups that i cant name here managed to open it, and relink the files, probably using custom tools, which is great, but i would like to know how to open and edit the .bin file myself

What are the .sgb files for in KoP? Are they music or something? I'd much rather rip out just music than have to sacrifice movies and thus sacrifice story.

i have been able to get kingdom of paradise down to 488 mbs with only one movie being dummied but i don't know if EVERYTHING works but i was able to play from my gamesave.

ps2man, can you point me in the direction of this if it's up anywhere, as the only rip I have is without vids (and like you I need the vids for the full experience!) Either that, of if you can post a ripkit or something I'd be most grateful (I'm not so hot on the ripping side of isos, can get rid of the update folders etc, but messing with other files usually ends in me getting angry with a frozen psp! :-/ )

Anyways, what's the originl size of LoH? I got a 600 Mb one, but i'm not sure it it's a rip, the game totally owns, so i'm wondering if I got a rip, since I don't want to miss a thing of the game! :D

my loh is 597 dont know whats been ripped exactly but i seem to have seen all the vids and dont feel i missed anything (btw at about lv15 do they ever learn any new kool moves and summons??)

my KOP is 486 again not sure but i think like 2 vids have gone but havnt missed anythin from it

Alright, so you got a ripped version, since mine is about 638MB, anyhows, I think I have the full version, since I don't think I got stuff missed.. Unless the game's supposed to have FMVs, wich I haven't seen in the game, only in-game movies.

As for your lvl 15 prob, sorry can't help, i'm like lvl 4 myself and I just defeated that big ol monster in the beginning.. :P

I managed to make my own rip by only dummying the credits and the clone movies, and ripping out the update and browser.

My problem is the game gets to the intro, then after the climax part it goes to a black screen.

Anybody know what to do?
