MS confirms GTA IV DLC out in time for Christmas

Miceosoft has confirmed that the GTA IV downloadable episodes will be released exclusively for the Xbox 360 this Autumn. They have indicate that the Xbox 360 will be the "only console with new Grand Theft Auto IV content available this Christmas."


Microsoft has today confirmed that the first of the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto IV downloadable episodes is to be released exclusively for Xbox 360 this autumn.

The platform holder notes that the Xbox 360 will be the "only console with new Grand Theft Auto IV content available this Christmas".

Exactly what we'll be getting in terms of gameplay from the exclusive episodes is still to be confirmed.

well if they add in car customization, business ownership, parachutes, airplanes, jet packs, and anything else they left out this time around then it would be fantastic. Otherwise its DLC that's continuing on a watered down version of the GTA, graphically stunning but watered down non the less.

good ideas,but u know THATS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. it will be the same game just a different character and different missions,IMO.maybe they will allow HDD install to improve the gfx bugs and loading time? who knows.btw, werent rockstar making an exclusive episodes for ps3 as well? guess it wont come out this year with MS DLC,has to be next year!

umm maybe allow from hdd? have u not read any news lately? search on youtube for the guy installing gtaiv to the hdd in the leaked dash.... and as far as i know there will be multiple dlc packages some (maybe just this 1) being 360 exclusive the rest available for both

i havent kept up with it i guess.didnt know they were installing gta4 on the HDD.i thought that leaked dash was nixed. bah,whatever.we will just see when they get released.

I'm so over this game. There comes a point when DLC just becomes overkill and I think that's what this will be.

It'll probably just be a few recycled mission scenarios and a new character or clothing items. Seriously, if that's the case, then only the idiots will flock to buy this.

no really its been confirmed for months there WILL BE playing from the hdd FOR SURE. rumor has it as early as sept 24th during the xbox experience thing is when the dashboard hits. i take it u dont know bout the new look and avatars either :P

yeah there good ideas in GTA:SA but for some reason they didn't translate to GTA4, still don't see why. my only glimmer of hope is the fact that they added motorcycles in GTA:LCS so I think they might be open to adding new functionality to the dlc episodes. No the ps3 wont get exclusive episodes but they will get dlc for stuff on PlayStation Home.

yeah that i knew about.(and im not a fan of the new dashboard, or those avatars)i just didnt know bout a leak of gta4 being installed on the HDD.i do like the 8 person chat tho.but i mean how much can you install if you have hr 20gb version? i already have 10.7BG left. i guess iwont really be installing much games for 360.as far as gta4 i believe with the other poster.i think it will be just recycled stuff with a new character and short storyline.nothing remade thats for sure.

usless dlc for a game that no one cares about, yes its got a gta name tag but it sure as hell didn't feel like a gta game to me, it felt like gta lite (all the eye candy anyone needs, but none of the fun). no matter how much dlc you bring out for this game i dont think it will bring the the heart and soul of gta back.

gta4 is the only gta i've stopped playing after i completed it, i completed the others 5-10 times atleast. they shouldn't have called it gta4 they should have called it GTA: ultmatuim because no matter which descisson you make ingame it ends pretty much the same way

You might be onto something, if you think of the many meaning of what I bolded and underlined in the quote. Could it be a loaded statement?
