How come Guilty Gear 2is an Xbox 360 exclusive? This game looks like it could be a PlayStation 3 title too.
The creator of the Guilty Gear series has revealed that it is much easier for a mid sized developer like his team to developer for the Xbox 360 than the PS3. Also for their latest game in the franchise, it was much easier to work with the Xbox 360 as its organized network infrastructure was considered for the network battle mode of the game.

DI: It was easier for a small-and-mid-sized developer like us to develop a game for XBOX360 than PS3. Also, since the main feature of the game is the network battle, XBOX 360 with organized network infrastructure was considered more suitable for the game.

This GG2 was the first title that we took the overseas development into consideration and since Xbox 360 had been widely used especially in the U.S., we wanted to challenge the system.

another day, another developer comments on how one console is easier than another to make games and is hence "better"

these game designers are really losing their credibility at the rate this is going

Dont forget when Saturn was out. Devs also complain how hard time they had to make game on Saturn. Playstation was sure easier.

Your point being? The Saturn bombed hard... and effectively lead to Sega retreating from building hardware. I sure hope that PS3 doesn't do the same to S0NY.

Sounds like another lazy developer using a scapegoat excuse not to develop for another console. He admits its not hardware capabilities, but the unwillingness to learn an architecture.

I think that's the issue as well. 360 was doing far better than the ps3 sales wise at the time, from that we get this [
that we took the overseas development into consideration..., and now we get justification of why they did it. I would like to wonder what would happen if the ps3 magically gets a bigger install base than the 360 what will be their take on the situation.

I don't really mind them making a game for this or that platform, but I just don't like BS, and that includes
Only possible on BD
