If you've played GTA you know there is a slight problem with the trails. Example: Running or Back and forth quickly on a bike. Has anyone found a way to remove them? It's like in GTAIII on Computer but there is no way to remove the trails on the PSP.

I think its more of a problem with the psp hardware. Its called ghosting. GTA is just too much for the poor screen to handle

I hate the trails too, first 3D GTA I played was on the Xbox due to my dislike of those damn trails.

What I would like to see is an overclocking app that runs on 2.0 so we can launch the official UMD at full 333Mhz as that should alleviate some of the slowdown and related issues.

"Ghosting", is a problem usually associated with slow LCD refresh rates. On the PSP however, I'm not sure what causes it as some games look fine with little to no ghosting (Wipeout Pure, Burnout Legends, Kao Challengers, MediEvil), while others seem to ghost horribly (Metal Gear Acid, GTA apparently, Untold Legends etc).

It seems only the dark colors give blur, the lighter colors don't at all. I think that's why some games look better because they are brighter.

The PSP has a slow refresh rate, darker colors will ghost more than lighter colors will.

There is nothing you can do about this, unless Sony decides on manufacturing a higher quality screen for the 2nd rev. of the PSP.

You can buy a new (and faster) lcd screen...
Maybe little bit hard to find, but oh well... :D

setting it at 333mhz in CheatDevice removes the "wavy lines" considerably.
