I wanted to know how to get gamesaves on my Xbox 360, so that I can get achievements for games I don't feel like really playing. Exactly what do I need to transfer saves from my computer to my Xbox 360 harddrive, and how do I get them to unlock my achievements? Thanks.

Nah, probably not. I don't really play Halo and my Gamertag is different than my username on here.

How is a tutorial on how to use xploder for free, going to help him understand gamesaving?

Alright thanks for all the help guys. And nah, I don't have a transfer cable, so I will be purchasing the Xploder. This is the only item I need to buy here, correct?:

http://www.xploder.net/xbox-360/products/158/NEW-Xploder-Cheat-Saves-for-XBOX-360.htm

It says it comes with the cable and the software. But I don't have a memory card, only a Harddrive, what would I need to buy to connect that to my PC?

don't be so quick to buy xploder if you dont have a memory card. that software is ONLY for memory cards.

If you have a HDD, you can use a sata cable from your PC (that involves opening your hard drive) or the XSATA or XPORT.

Isn't there a method that doesn't require you to open up your HDD, yet you can still use a SATA cable to connect it to your PC?

Werd, I feel you, but I can't void it if I don't open it right?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking of purchasing. The guy above me posted a link to it, it's $49.99 correct?

Yes there is, you can't use Xploder on the HDD yet, but in all honesty why would you? Accidently erasing the wrong file off an MU is bad enough, but accidently erasing your HDD and all the stuff you downloaded is more than enough of a reason not to mess with it.

There are ways to work around opening your console to attach the HDD to your PC, so you can work around opening it up and maybe voiding your warranty.

I work with MUs simply for the facts that I keep my gamesaving stuff totally seperate from my stuff. The HDD's place is on the side of the console, not in my hand going to the PC after having one beer to many and gettin butterfingers.

Do what you want, but the prospect of losing my data or having to buy a new HDD is not what want to do on a saturday afternoon. 50 dollar MUs can take a fall better and if you erase it, no biggy..slap it in the 360 and reformat.

nicely said. you should work for a Memory Card manufacturer trying to get people to buy them xD.

But anyway that's what image backups are for. Xplorer360 doesnt have that feature just so users can glance at it and move the mouse over it every once and a while.
