Does anyone have a solution/suggestion for this problem: I have a Supercard DS One with most current OS, a SanDisk 1GB Micro SD card, a Nintendo DS Lite, and the most recent version of nesds. I am able to boot nesds and load the roms. The problem is that many of the roms (Mike Tyson's Punch Out for example) the picture is bad. The only way I can think to describe it is that the pixels look like they are all shuffled around like a mixed up puzzle! Other games (Like Super Mario Bros. 2) work fine!! I downloaded an NES emulator for my mac (nestopia) to check to see if it was the ROM's and they worked perfect so I know the problem is with nesds.

I am new to the card but have done a lot of reading. Every thing I find online about the Supercard DS One says that nesds works fine without any additional patching!?! Has anyone else heard of or had this problem? Are there any settings I should change in the nesds patch menu on my supercard? Please help. Thanks

Punch-out is a known problem game with NES DS. The trick Flubba used to get it working in PocketNES was deemed hacky by Loopy, so it was never added to NES DS. You have three solutions:
1. Use PocketNES for the GBA, only if you have a slot-2 device
2. Use NesterDS+ which will be slow and require frameskip but should have more accurate graphics
3. (best option) Use the recompiled build of NES DS that was made specifically to fix Punch-out, found at http://www.pocketheaven.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=6544

For other games with graphical glitches, you'd want to try them in PocketNES or NesterDS+

Thanks! That version of nesds fixed punch out. There are still some other roms that don't work so I'll try those other emu's that you suggested.

I have nesds on a 4gb SDHC micro sd card too. That one freezes my DS every time I go to select my NES folder on the card. I read that nesds has trouble on the HC SD cards. Has there been any fixes or patches for that?
