Can you be more specific about the weird sound?
Anyway, if you're getting lots of disc read errors it's probably your drive on it's way out. Depending on the sound you're getting it could be the motor or the lens.

Yeah, its probably the drive motor,I have a Wiikey and mine went south on me and I ended up getting a whole new drive unit...I would suggest to just get the spindle/motor itself...but you cant buy them on the internet anywhere,if you get a whole new drive unit make sure its a DMC and not a D2B (cut legs) or above or just put your old board on your new drive (like I did) that way you wont have to mess with soldering the chip again....

i brought a few wiis recently as spares/repairs that do this.
its the laser the drive is f*cked mate find a replacement :)
it will play games fine but after a while or so the lazer moves to the outer edge of the discs and just keeps making a clicking sound then itll slide in towards centre of the disc and then back to the edge again and make some more clicking then up will pop a DRE

Is it easy to Replace the Laser Unit For the wii?? Is it Expensive??
Cuz i'm neither Rich(poor mostly) nor i have soldering experience :(
Can't I just open the wii and clean the laser with Alcohol?

you will need to solder to replace the laser its just taking 6 wires off to remove the board to get to the laser then soldering those wires back in place unless your completly hopeless with the iron you should be able to do it with little experience

you can try this first, here is how without stripping your drive down (http://wiinewz.com/forums/523667-post4.html)
you will probably need a new laser though.

ive also noticed the d2pro v2 make the d2c boards do this too but only the early ones like LEH14/15 d2c drives they dont do it all the time but when it does its annoying
