Soccer star Wayne Rooney managed to shake off an illness which has ruled him out of the start of the soccer season to continue filming an advert for the FIFA 09 video game. And he looked pretty happy about it!

The footballer features in EA Games Fifa 09 and starred in an campaign for the product in Manchester today.
Fans, who were offered the chance to be extras in the ad and meet their idol, turned out in their droves to see the footballer outside a pub in Ancoats.
