WTF - Japanese gamers lining up to get their hands on an Xbox 360 game

Either this is a really great game on the Xbox 360 or Japanese gamers just like lining up for games. Famitsu reports that there were over a hundred people in line to get their hands on Tals of Vesperia on the Xbox 360.

LoL, I am a gamer not a "Fanboy", I have a console I prefer more then the other, but I prefer my PC most off all. I have over 35 game consoles and a High end Game PC. I Love games but my standard is pretty high for games bin a gamer for very long time now and never bin a fanboy of any, I just have had my favorite Console, but it seem you don't understand that. Do you notice a trend...not ONE of those titles is a PS3 RPG/ARPG. When Sony brings the stellar RPG lineup they had like they did on the PS2, open your mouth and sound off. Until then, STFU about anything RPG on the PS3 as it has yet to prove itself.

u can agree or not agree with this...but anyway...really good rpg's originated from japan...japan has a more rpg hungry market than any place else in the world...japanese prefer ps3 over 360...microsoft is trying to get alot of "good" rpgs on 360 to try and change that...it obviously hasnt worked so far, and i doubt it will ever work...third party, or companies that claim to be (cough cough tri-ace) that release rpgs on the 360 in japan either has microsoft on their mind (and pocket)...or just hates sony, because sony has more sytems sold than the 360 in japan, and i dont see that changing, especially how ffxiii is still a ps3 exclusive over there... so dont care how much good rpg'smicrosoft and their payees release on 360, japan doesnt put up with red ringed crap like the u.s., so developers either need to scrape the ms logo of their eyes and see that the japanese want their rpg's on ps3, or start charging ms more money for this crap...

while these numbers are true, sony isnt hurting their head, they know that all this money microsoft is spending, isnt going to help, they kno that at the end of the day, the ps3 will outsell the 360, in all regions, and microsoft wud hav spent all that money in vain, and sony will be richer...and thats all that matters to true console makers nintendo and sony...the reason im saying microsoft isnt a true console designer is becuz they hav one dream in mind, beating ps3, they arent even worried that the wii is destroying them both, they just wanna beat sony, they arent in the business to make money, all they want 4 christmas is 2 beat sony...pretty sad...

I personally hope to see the rest of the Namco RPGs on the ps3 eventually when the ps3 user base gets good enough for them.... actually any old school RPG would do. I hope that when they release trusty bell on the ps3 it sells enough for Namco to reconsider releasing it in the west, but anyways, I'm sure this game will sell quite well (compared to other 360 games in japan), as it's probably the first series released in japan on the 360 that has an actual fan following.

The ps3 has NO RPG MARKET, it has no RPGS. There's not many people who regret that more than me since that's basically all I play. Will the ps3's lack of RPGs last? I don't think so, but you have to be some kind of blind fool to say that the ps3 has better RPGs than the 360. All I've gotta say is Trusty Bell, Blue Dragon... that's it, I just mentioned 2 RPGs and it's already more than what the ps3 has.

If square isn't releasing FFXIII in japan on the 360 I'm sure they have their reasons. In all honesty an RPG out on the 360 and the ps3 in japan is a no brainer as to what version will sell more, but unlike FFXIII, vesperia is a 360 exclusive (for the moment at least), so square's situation and namco isn't comparable.

You can keep believing what you want though, just remember, people following ms blindly are the cause the RROD continued uncheck for so long. I've said it before and I'll say it again: If we (the consumers) don't recognize there's a problem, you can be sure as hell that they (manufacturers) won't bring it up either.
