dropped wii

adding to my troubles, my wii was dropped, and now it wont read discs... at all. would you guys recommend buying a replacement drive entirely, a replacement laser, or is there something i can look for on the unit that might be out of place?
thanks. I am leaning towards a replacement DMS drive.
