Alright so a few weeks ago my Wii stopepd working (Presumably because of a lighting storm). I plug in the Wii and the red LED turns on. I turn it on and the LED turns green and you can hear the disk drive starting up as if the system were working, but there is no sound coming out of the TV and the screen remains blank.

I really don't want to pay nintendo $75.00 to fix it, but I've never modded my own system before. So if someone knows how to fix this, I would really appreciate some instructions

the motherboard is fried mate had them for repair no luck
