Hi all,
I've been waiting for a modchip that can play import titles and the D2pro seems to fit the bill however having checked two sites that offer an install service one stated it was only for consoles of serial LEH180xxxxxx or higher and the other for LEH1835xxxxxx :-(
so what modchip should I look to use with my LEH108xxxxxx console guys, oh and it's updated to the max, wasn't really thinking about modchips at the time but I gather that updated firmwares are not a problem.
Looking forward to your help guys.
Cheers
Martin

get the d2pro9 v2 ,or the wasabi v2 , you have a d2c chipset.

If you've got a LEH108 then you could just go for the cheapest option of a wiikey

the wiikey can't play import backups though can it?
If the D2C will fit the LEH108xxxxxx wiis then why are the shops specifically saying they won't fit it unless the serial is 135 or higher or 180 or higher?
Any issue with the fact I have updated my console?
Cheers for the info guys.

All the chips have the exact same function they will all play the same imports not every imported game is gonna work for you and having a different chip isn't gonna make a certain game play
If i'm wrong though i take it all back :D

they were the old d2pro 13/15/17/19 wire installs, these are the new d2pro9 v2 5/9 wire installs .5 wires on dms/d2a/d2b and 9 wires required for d2c/d2c2
A D2PRO9 V2 will go in any console weather its a dms/d2a/d2b/d2c/d2c2

my firmware is 3.2e so from what i gather only 3.3 causes a problem so I think I dodged the bullet!
Well I'm off on holiday next week but you'll be getting an order through your website when I get back.
Cheers
