chip for first version of wii

welll i have the old version of wii. decide that now is the time to mod it , even though i dont' do much gaming. can someone suggest the best chip? price is not a deciding factor here. the reason why i have to ask is because most of the thread here are greared toward newer wiis

if you have a d2b with cut pins and don't fancy getting your dremmel out ? go for the d2pro 9 or the wasabi , if your pins are not cut ? you can pop a wiikey or a yaosm in .

if you have the old version of the wii forget the d2b you dont need it. a simple wiikey will do and its way cheaper. dont touch wasabi their garbage and yaosm arent that good either.

wasabi v2 is the most stable chip out there at the moment,it works 100% on all drives including D2ES,and solid on older drives too.

Very true the wiikey is the cheapest solution for your wii and will let you play all the games you want

as i said if his pins are not cut ? you can pop a wiikey or a yaosm in !!! i am not trying to make him buy nothing mate, that's up to him, hes asking for advice ,and that's what he got , weather you think its the right advice or not?

Wiikey is all you need. SOLID mod chip for the early chipsets. I havent found a game it wont play.

If the pins are cut, that can pose more of a challenge.
