Ideas for modding

Hey guys, I'm sitting here with some time on my hand thinking about some modding ideas for the GC. I just wanted to throw some ideas around and see what you guys think. So here goes...

1. Would it be possible to run code via the GBA link to GC? There are lots of sites selling large mem cards that you can use for your GBA (load up multiples roms). What if there was a possibility to insert some code into that flash card,insert into GBA and link up to the GC? Possibly have the GC execute the code from there as a temporary storage as the GC does not have enough memory. I'm not a developer so I don't understand the intricacies of the GC communication to the GBA. Just a thought I figured I'd explore.

2. How about connecting the GC directly to pc via usb? This one is a litte far out there but who knows!

Like I said it's just an idea. Hopefully this would be viable to use as perhaps someone will be able to get the GC to execute some code on a bigger storage then using the memory. Let me know what you guys think? Thanks.

Not addressing this to you in particular, this goes for alot of folks, but as a general heads-up bit of advice to everyone...

Just about every possible way to do what you are talking of has been discussed 100 times. The discussions over what is and what is not possible has been beaten to death. The problem lies in actually doing the coding. It's not that no one has thought of various basic ideas such as using the GBA, memory card slots, etc. The GC development has really gone way past that level. So to all, unless you are doing coding don't waste your time. Reading back through old threads you'll see dozens of discussions on this. Either it will get ignored at best, or at worst you'll look like you don't know what you are talking about and get ripped on.

I understand that people might get frustrated seeing this topic brought up. However, I believe that you don't have to be coding to discuss possibilities. This is after all a forum where we can exchange ideas and I don't believe it's just limited to developers.

Like I said in my original thread, I'm just kicking some ideas around and just wanted to see what other people thought. Hey if people want to rip on other people it's fine with me. Everybody has a right to their own opinion.

Please point me to other threads containing this so i can have a better understanding. Thanks!
