I recently decided that I want a chip for my wii. I got the wii back in early 2007. And also, I live in the USA so what's the best site for getting a chip in the USA? Thanks, and sorry for my noobishness.

May I ask why the d2pro9 v2 is superior to the others? By the way, I've probably got one of the wiis with the uncut pins. So are there any good chips that cost less than d2pro9 v2? Or is that the most expensive one for good reason? I mean, from my perspective, the wiikey looks good enough.

Well if you have a d2b w/ cut pins and you're not a pro at the soldering business the wii-clip with d2pro9 or wii-clip with the wasabi are your only 2 options.
If you want to use the wiikey with a drive with cut pins the wii-clip won't work for you. You'll have to solder it on and dremel (most common way?) through the chip to get to the pins. It's not a easy process.
That's why you'd want to go with the more expensive ones over the wiikey.
