After some problem with my D2Pro, i got an new one form the show, but when I should take off the old D2Pro chip, the hole piont C came off from the wii.

The wii wil turn on, but when i press eject, it turns itselv off. If i start the wii with the remote, it comes up with an unknow error. (working fine without the drive installed)
So the question is: is there a way to fix this, or do i have to get me another drive?

PS:9 wire installation from http://www.modsupplier.com/catalog/images/d2pro-installation-diagram.pdf

Yeah just solder to the clip leg.(ie point C to chip point) BE careful, if you screw this up this you may need a new drive.

Do u mean that i can solder point c on the D2Pro chip to the chip where the C is coming out from(on the D2C chip) , and that the problem should be solved?

guess something else is wrong then. Have soldering all wires, from c on the d2pro to the chip where the c is coming out. But when i press eject on the wii, it turn off. While powersupply is on, the lamp at the wii is red, pressing eject, it turns green for about a tenth for a sec, then the light turns off. The drive is not spinning or anything. Guess i have a big prob
