I have :
Wii – serial no: LEH1876……..
ModChip - D2Pro9v2 with the v4c Wii clip
But… after placing the modchip in to Wii I still have no luck to play the copy DVD’s games and I’m getting this error code - “Unable to read the disc..”
Do i have to solder some wire or do i need different mochip?
Can some one help me or advise me with this issue … please !
here is some pics of what i have:

try un-soldering the clk and then conect the 2 x j point together diagram and support here (http://wiinewz.com/forums/d2pro/68733-wii-clip-v4c-support-d2pro-9-wires-chip-stock-now.html) have you got any lights /red/green etc.

It could be the dics you are using or the way you are burning them
Try Verbatums as they seem to be the best :)

Don't you have to solder your region if you have a wiiclip ?
Also dont forget to put your battery back, a wii whitout a battery won't be able to read a disc, real or backup.

does it also have an issue ejecting?
i have seen where you need to wait a couple mins after turning on the wii with the wii clip installed (listen to the clicking sound) when it finishes clicking you can put in the disk. using the 1.5 update disk should fix this issue http://www.d2pro.com/resources.html

Both the Memorex and Sony discs have been known to have had problems with the Wii. Try Verbatim or Ritek -Rs.
BTW, you don't need to solder in the region. The region is set after you place an original in your drive (such as Wii Sports) after your installation.
From www.d2pro.com
Region Free on 9-wire d2pro - 2008.04.25
A lot of people have written to us with queries related to activating region free on the 9-wire d2pro. This information has now been updated in the installation guide: After installation, simply load an ORIGINAL OWN REGION game disc straight away and region free will then function properly.
