Anyone rip battlefront 2 yet? Dumped my original UMD and it comes out to 704.4mb. By the way it loads through direct load on UMD emulator.

So it works on 1.5? If that's so, im gonna buy it right away!

About the ripkit, i think it can be possible to make it fit your mem. card since it is only 700 MB orginal.

the game needs 2.0 to load...however, you can dump your umd and play it through umd emu using direct load.

I have the full iso, and i am trying to shrink it down. You said that you ripped out the music: does that include the sound effects too? If it is just the music, i would like to know what folder(s) you removed. Thanks.

I'm just going to rip out the music probably. And this works on UMD Emulator only, right?

theres a rip kit floating around that is 254MB

Removed From ISO:

- Update
- Padding
- Eboot.bin (must use "Direct Load")
- Background music
- Foreign languages

the music left in tact makes the iso like 640megs

Wow 640mb or 254mb considering I have a 1gb MS I might be ripping out the music from mine. I really wonder if this game is worth the space or not... I wish the new Bond game would come to PSP...

Soooooo...no one actually said if it will work on a 1.5....do I just load the iso up with umd emulator and play it through that on my 1.5?
Or do I have to have the original of the game and dump it to my mem stick and play it from there that way.....if so whats the difference from doing that or using a iso of the game?

It does work on a 1.5

The full 740MB ISO does work under 1.5 (playing it currently). But (correct me if I'm wrong) any ripped version DON'T.

Any rebuilt ISO of this game won't work. I tried devhook, umdemu, fasloader. You can't even remove the update folder (hidden files removed when rebuilding ?) Guess what the error is ? Yeah you got it. FFFFFED3.

EDIT: Sorry guys, apparently I had a bad ripkit, now I tried the 254Mb version, and it works like a charm (in direct mode in UMDEmu). And to me the music is not really needed, so it's great.

The rip works fine just need to know where the language fines are and the pad file. Other than that I ripped the updates out and mine works fine

I ripped mine, but I couldn't see any pad files and I don't know where the language files are. If someone could point me in the right direction it would be nice.

Where are the padding and Foreign Language files at? And if I remove the EBOOT.BIN, it still will work? And does this work on UMD Emulator? Thanks!

Nvm i got it. just tried it again and it worked. Also, does any1 know how you can view/edit the files in global.lvl? No music seems kind of bare, having a few songs would be nice.

What? You mean the 250 MB ripkit rigth?

Just wondered what the other one on 650 did remove, because if you remove the music it gets down to 350 MB or so.
