Hi,

I'm trying to get my PS2 to work with an external HD. According to the PS2 Compatibility Chart, My Drive is listed its a 160G Maxtor 7200 RPM

My PS2 Settings are:

Toxic OS
PS2 Version US 0200 14/06/2004
DMS Hardware 1.2 Pro
ToxicOS Flash v0.2
ToxicOS Config V1.1

When I try to boot up the HD connected with either HD Loader or booting to the Toxic OS and see if it can see the drive, it always says it can't find it.

Any hints? I have seen ToxicOS v.3 out, should I upgrade to that?
Any other suggestions?
Any help is apprecaited.

Thanks,

Weggie

External? HDLoader and similar products connect a normal IDE harddisk through the net adapter thus the harddrive is inside the ps2 drive bay. Or if you have a slimline it's connected to whatever that HDConnect mod is. If you are trying to use some USB hookup, it won't work unless you used that USBAdvance thing. And well it sucks as I recall.
