Pursuit force rat race hint

well guys, here's another one who can't get to the airport;) it's damn hard if you ask me... you can't do anything else but shoot at them others and just hit full gas on it!

i've just completed the mission to the airport. you've got to take out as many enemies as you can, than you get your "bar" filled up on the right corner under at your screen. push the "triangle"-button and you get a sort of boost and your own car restores as your life to! repeat this till the end and you'll be fine. afterwords you get new missions, they only get harder... hope my english ain't to bad, i'm from Belgium and try to do my best in english;) good luck with this great game!

what you gotta do is dodge all the innocent cars. As they lower your power up bar. Then it makes it so you gotta kill too many bad guys to restore health.

i thought it was pretty easy...
you just have to shoot the enemy cars that doesnt have the V on it.
the one with the V is invincible.
and once you kill about 5 cars your boost bar will be filled and then press triangle and your life is restored

I can become really frustrating when you have to do it all over again...a savegame (or cheat) would come in handy..

This game would be awesome if it wasn't that hard ! Maybe a simple checkpoint systems (where you're not forced to redo all the mission over and over again until you're definitely bored) would have been enough to make it good...

And I agree, it only becomes harder and harder with further missions.

You have to earn the cheats within the game itself. As you progress through career mode you will unlock cheats. Thats how I've understood it to be so far. Once you get them though, you cant use them on any level that you havent already completed yet, so they actually dont help all that much. I havent seen anything else online as far as other cheats. Right now I'm stuck on the 3rd convicts mission and it continues to kick my @#* each and every time I play it. If someone has already completed this mission, PLEASE can I get the game save from you?!?

Yeah is hard but is fun as hell !!!!! I haven't played a PSP all the way.. well Ridge racer of course but this will be the next one.
Do you know that if your bar is full you can use it to refill you health and you car damage. But you can also use it to jump and fire while in the air on your way to your enemy car.. can't remember if it is done with the square..or just firing while you are in the air..remember you bar needs to be full.... NICE!!!!

AWESOME!!! this game is good. Well I'm having a hard time on "Atomic Ambush", the helicopter is turning me crazy, I didn't know I could heal while firing... so this should help.. :D

Correction to my previous post, the cheats arent just earned by progressing through the career mode. You have to actually get a score of "A" on a mission to unlock a cheat code. I'm not sure if every mission has a cheat code to offer, so far I've gotten an "A" on 3 missions and they all gave me cheat codes. 1 is doulbe brute force points, 2nd is no civilian traffic, and the last is unlimited brute force.

Atomic Ambush!!!! Just can't get through this one. I have done this mission like 100 times. I run out of time or my car explodes..hard mission. I'm not using any cheats.

At least I know an A on the first mission won't give you a cheat. I unlocked laser beam (all weapons fire a laser beam) on the second mission.. The fun part is that you can't progress on the carrer mode with a cheat on!!!!!

crap... i'm going to die trying this mission. This is what I got so far:

1. You need to hit that car as much as you can when you first see it.
2. try to arrive with a full bar to this stage, so you can use the triangle button as late as you can. That's easy since you can replinish while killing the 16 bad boys before, you don't need to use it.
3. The worst part for me is that the last stretch on the tunnel a second car comes in and I automatically lock on it , when I really would like to continue hitting the important one. Can you change the car you are locking on????? :mad:

You can change the car you are locked on to by pressing the square button. Also, here are some helpful hints to get you through tough parts of the game.

1. For the most part, stay in the car/vehicle that you are in as long as possible when shooting it out with the bad guys. Even when your power bar is empty, you still have about 10 seconds before your car blows up.

2. Sometimes its better to swap vehicles right away as opposed to firing away until their car blows up, especially if the other car is a 2-seater. (There's only 2 enemies to dispense of).

3. When going through tight turns, stick to the very outside of the turn until the last second, then tap on the L button 2-3 times throughout the turn while maintaining your hold on the acceleration. *Experiment with this*

4. If you're cruising through a level and just waiting for the next enemy to appear, occassionaly tap the fire button, this will give you a jump start as to when the enemy is there, as your character will start to fire as SOON as an enemy has appeared.

5. Once you have your brute force bar filled up and ready for use, wait until the very last second to use it, remember that even when you're car/vehicles energy bar is at zero you still got roughly 10 seconds until it blows up. Also, when it is full, take great care in not ramming or firing at any civilians - this is something you're probably already aware of.

6. Very rarely should you take a motorcycle from an enemy, (only when they are the only enemy on screen is a good rule of thumb), as they are easy to take out by just firing at them a few times. Plus, once you are on a motorcycle, they take damage much quicker than a car/truck.

7. With some of the bosses, you should actually stay back a little from them. There is a happy medium space where you can just hang back and fire away at them without them firing back at you.

Plz note, you may not agree with some of these hints, but its gotten me all the way to the last stage. (Which is so difficult that its made me wanna throw my psp at the wall)
