psp buggered - help

Got the white version psp

i think the board is abit damp or something as when i try to play a game it moves continuesly by itself ie on virtua tennis menu it moves down and i cant select to play exhibition or tournament..it also does this on all other games.
I`ve just put it on top near window where the sun is to see if that makes a difference.. any other ideas what the problem could be??

There are reports of the white PSP's down button sticking. Sounds like that might be your problem :confused:

Thanks for reply, opened it up and still does the same without buttons on but you maybe right!
I'm sure theres some water or something gone onto the board.. is there any cleaning fluids available for psp or for cleaning boards with>?

After thinking about it. I actually believe it could be your analogue nub playing up. My Friends PSP's nub wasnt centering properly and everytime he started it up the menus would scroll on their own.
We fixed it by removeing the faceplate and adjusting the metal plate to the left of the screen that the nub sits on. Try that. You dont even need to screw the faceplate back on everytime just hold it together firmly - makes life easier!
