Star Ocean 4 perhaps isn't a Xbox 360 exclusive, just timed

Eagle eyed readers at TalkPlaystation are reporting that Star Ocean 4 is not an Xbox 360 exclusive. The reason being is that another title in their latest press release clearly states in brackets that Infite Undiscovery is a 360 exclusive, while Star Ocean 4 has no such statement thus indicating it is just a timed exclusive.

One month ago this was posted on IGN, to that point no decision has been made about a PS3 version.

Star Ocean 4 was announced today as being in development for the Xbox 360. But as we specified during our blog from Microsoft's big RPG press conference in Japan, the game wasn't strictly referred to as an Xbox 360 exclusive title.

So is the game coming to the PS3 as well?

Square Enix producer Yoshinori Yamagishi cleared things up during a roundtable interview session that followed the press conference. Asked if the game is 360-only, he said, "We cannot announce anything on that. We can say that it will be released first [on the Xbox 360]. Whether we'll release it on the PS3 is undecided. We may release it, we may not."

Looks like, as with Last Remnant, 360 owners get this Square Enix epic first, but PS3 owners may get their own version in the future as well!

Which notable 360 exclusive remains exclusive anyway?
Everything is going PC and/or PS3 sooner or later.
SO4 will be on PS3 . MS just bought their pretime as usual.

I'm still hoping namco will come to their senses, I swear it's like they are out for revenge against sony, or did the 360 version do so bad in the west? A perfect show of BD's edge would be for them to include a few language tracks on the japanese release of the game. I know namco doesn't really care about that, but if I was at sony I would be begging them to do it. They already have all the date from the US release on the 360, so I don't see what would be the big problem.

As far as SO on the ps3, I think it's only logical. Regardless of how many more 360s there are over ps3s, I'm willing to be that the majority of SO fans have a ps3.
