Meet the Microvision 360 - HDTV with integrated Xbox 360

PvP_LostKnight has produly displayed his latest hardware modification - the Microvision 360 - a HDTV LCD with an Xbox 360 integrated into it. Looks as if Samsung and all the others were beaten to the punch by this savvy modder.

simple idea yet really cool i hope more people come up with ideas like this. Would be nice to see a slimline version but still i am very impressed and surprised i haven't seen this sooner

How was Samsung beaten? They unofficially unveiled a model about a month ago. Not to mention theirs isn't just a 360 slapped onto the back, in other words, it's actually INTEGRATED into the television, so it's about twice and thin.

this is just plan stupid. how the hell is he going to put the game in, what do you have to do lay the tv down flat every time you put in a disc? there's no way to keep the cd in place when it is extended out like that, only way is to have it flat or on its side, there's a small lip to hold the cd in.

If its real it wouldn't play a game. Hold your 360 like he has the tray placed and try to put a disc in.... have fun explaining that to microsoft tech support when it gets jammed...

1) you cant load a disc that way (as stated by others as well)

2) I don't know about you guys controllers but I know when I press the Xbox button to turn on my machine all 4 green lights on the controller flash.

3) If it was real ... why not turn on some light .... show it from better angles ... load a game. The damn video is so crappy you can not even tell if the faceplate of the drive is even a 360 one.

Well given the info and lack of research by Zeus I was working with what was given to me ...

On that note now that I have more info I take back some of what I said ...

Still unless he mods the DVD tray it WILL NOT hold a disc in that position .. there is no notch to hold it in the tray.

Now I'll add to my original thoughts ...

How is this INTEGRATED ... Integrated means PART OF .. all this is is piggybacking a 360 onto the back of a crappy TV.

I understand he is short on space but I would have mounted the TV on the wall an then mounted a shelf next to (or under / over) the TV to place the 360 on ... not worth the headache to glue a xbox to the back of a TV and tape a plastic container over the back ...

Next time leave the cool mod ideas to BenHeck :)

hey guys and gals i just superglued my 37" to the top of my xbox360.now i got me a 360vission.

i am thinking about supergluing it to the fridge so i got cold beveridges for the long hot gaming sessions,hell!i might superglue it to the microwave so i got plenty of hot snacks too.

the possiblities are endless.
