TBH and dont flame me now. I've played all the gta's religiously since #1 on ps1 (im 19) San Andreas blew me away i played that on ps2 and xbox constantly with my friends. I'd be on the NRG and it was an excellent waste of time.

But gta IV has been on the shelf for a good bit of the time after i beat it. Its kind of intimidating, its hard just to sit and have fun. i end up playing MGS/MGO =(

Nope sorry.... that game is sitting in my game drawer... MGS4 is taking up all my time now.Of course it will, because you bought the inferior version of the game.

You probably know that the 360 version runs at 1280x720 (2xAA) while the PS3 version is running at 1152x640 (no AA). 360 also runs at a higher fps. Like I said and I'll point it out again, PS3 owners are coming to a Xbox 360 DLC thread to tell how bad the game sucks on the PS3. :p

Why are the ps3 fanboy so interested in flaming this game? Just admit this is also a good game. From one of the podcast in IGN released recent week, the voice actor said he had no idea on the DLC content as he was not involved (at the time of interview). I would presume the DLC will feature new protagonist instead of Niko Bellick.

There, now you look like "a tool". When was the last time anyone ever relied on IGN to produce an unbiased or even reliable article? That's right, you don't. Only fanboys do. A review is just someone's opinion on the matter, it's not cold hard fact.

EDIT: Looking at it more closely, the IGN review appears to be a preview instead, written well before the game was even released. Anyways, the link provided by Mr. Troll didn't apply to the fact that the real retail version of GTA IV has better graphics and soon it will have additional content as well. Not to mention "trophies" out-of-the-box on the 360.

You're basing this to a preview made in february when the game itself got released months later? Even there they don't even claim that the PS3 version has any AA to speak of. Did it occur to you that the beta version they were playing had less aliasing issues on the PS3 because the PS3 version didn't even have AA in the first place?

The Halo 3 reference was to inform you that what you probably used as ammo against "Xbots" in the past now turned against you, a fact which you then so blatantly ignored. You're right though, someone did get owned, but I'm afraid that someone isn't me. ;)

Except that HALO was promised to run at 1080p,,,, rofl... there were no such promises made with GTA4Yes, that's why there was such a big deal made about it and that is why I brought it up. The whole point was that GTA IV, not halo ffs, a multiplatform game, is working at a higher resolution on "Xbox 1.5" and has a higher fps rate.

EDIT: Oh yeah, almost forgot. Microsoft promised 720p for Halo 3, not 1080p. It was expected that the PS3 and the Xbox 360 versions of GTA IV would be identical and PS3 owner were hoping that a previous, almost exclusive Playstation game would be much better on the PS3. They were wrong, that was the point that you first didn't get, then you got it but refused to believe it and finally you just changed the entire subject. Nicely done Mr. Troll. :rolleyes:
