95% of that in-game footage was zoomed in to the characters. You can tell by where the aimer is located on the screen (upper left or right corner).
Not to mention, if you think you can judge a game accordingly to a web streamed video, you are wrong.

Just wait for the game to come out and then you can judge it to your heart's content.

why should they? not many games out there that can compete with the graphics of the first one... i'd rather them work on gameplay before graphics.

Don't confuse art style with gfx (which is what 90% or ppl seem to do all the time).

Obviously the game will look very similar to the first GoW due to the art style, and if you u've seen the first trailer u'll know this game is way improved in terms of gfx over the last gears.

There's a lot more going on screen, more ennemies, effects etc...

So NO it's not the same gfx, and you will require a more powerfull pc to run this one, although how much more powerfull is still TBD.

Gears 1 had set the bar for next gen when it first came out, until today there isn't many (if any) that surpass it in terms of gfx, there's a few that come pretty close such as COD4 and Bioshock.

to go calling them lazy fuck1n dev's is very ignorant from your part.


The only thing that bothered me that he mentioned... is the fact that they're gonna throttle the online achievements... which kinda suck, i don't care about achievements nor do i play to get them, but to throttle them is ridiculous, if the person what's to play with the sniper only and get 50 HS per game, that's their choice, hopefully they'll change that. (mentioned at about 1:50 throughout the video)

man this reminds me of RB6V2. the gfx were bumped alittle.just like gears.so far it seems more like an expansion of the 1st than a true sequel. just like RB6V2 did. wasnt worthy to be called a sequel. but who am i kidding,im still getting gears2,hands down. thank god i didnt buy rb6v2.it was just a rental for me. gears2 is a buy.:p

definitely not the same graphics from the hd versions of videos i've seen, the graphics are much improved. so to say it's the same graphics?
