Hi there,
I've just got myself a slimline PSTwo in the UK. I was wondering what solderless solutions there are? I know there are solderless options for the main ps2 but are there any for the slimline version?

Thanks

1) There are none at the momment due to case restrictions.
2) Don't even think of getting one. I did, and it screwed my PS2 over. The clips didn't work, even when i applied even presure (I have a device to do just that). Just soilder it in, and if you can't soilder, i reccommend this guy: http://web02063.prolocation.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=7248

When it comes to the PSTwo you have 2 main choices SolderChip & Laser Fix or SwapMagic. (I recommend this guy for installs, DAVE. (http://web02063.prolocation.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4382) You have to have options)

There are no solderless chips for the slimlines yet that I know of. You shouldn't even think of a PS2 solderless solution anyway, thats more of an amature xboxer chip.
Go soldered or get yourself a swapper disc. Solderless + PS2 = dead console. Least thats all I have read about DMS's attempt at it, it just ruined the consoles most of the time, and the post above reinforces that. If your PS2 is a V12 I suggest swapping, if its a V13 or the new V14's go with a chip.
