Who cares what shape it has, even if it was shaped into a Penis, if it works without much hassle it's fine.

Yes it is shaped a little like a penis, but looks like more of a mushroom :). Some people may say that a mushroom likes like a penis...so there ya go, it is inevitable that people will draw upon this.

If it has all the features it says then I'm sure it will be a very good mod, the cool shape (I think it's cool and a pleasant change to the boring square shapes) is a bonus! :D

well the comparisons between a mushroom and a wee-wee are based on the head looking like the cap of the shroom. this chip looks like the entire shaft and balls, the cap being the balls and the stem being the (very short) shaft :p it's still kind of a cool though. as long as it works well..

I don't see why they would have changed the shape, How many of you open your systems up to look at your modchip after you install it? <dead silence> yea thats what I thought. Unless there's something wrong with it, once its installed it'll never see the light of day again, so why make it look weird. Functionality is more important than form in mod chips, unless of course the shape creates installation difficulties, (i can see that happening here)...but i'm sure if it does all that stuff then it'll be a nice chip, i just don't see why they made it look like that...

magic chips suck and will always suck.. this crap just makes it harder to fit and install it right, it's as useless as it gets.

As I said it's from the newly formed M3 team, it's not the magic team who used to make the budget ps2 chips...

Yeah I agree fully. I never see my chips again once they are installed...maybe a small light from the box but not the chip itself. Also for the last point, I can see why they made it look that way. Think of how many dope heads are out there that will buy it for the sake of it being shaped as a drug :-|. Exactly. Although, you have to give it to them, they have to create some sort of gimick to catch more sales.

Really though, the designer of this chip don't have much of a social life.. I don't put windows in my consoles so I can see the chip, nor wire them up so I can see them through any holes already in the console, so what does the shape matter? It just makes shipping and printing the boards more of a hassle, and more of a risk of there being broken traces when installing. I just want something reliable and easy to install.
