I just bought a wii and was wondering what is considered the best chip. I was originally looking at the wasabi but heard that the new wii's might not work with all the modchips. Is this true and if so how do I tell if I have the model, then what is the best modchip to use.

get yourself the d2pro9 v2.0 ,forget the wasabi on a d2c

Well, he just bought his Wii. Argon hasn't announced firmware compatible with d2c2 yet. So d2pro is probably your best bet at the moment.

d2pro9 v2.0 is probably his only option if its a brand new wii.
