View Full Version : Wii Broke My Disc (Odd way)

Hej all,im semi pist off because Wii has yet again disapoint me! im getting a playstation 3 end of this week because of what happend to me today :

Yesterday i burned the game Manhunt 2 (gore edition)...so i inserted it and tested it,it started and worked fin,so i left it in my wii,Now today i switch the disc,for mercury.but wel lthis game sucked like hell

so i decide i would play some manhunt,i insert the disc and well it doesnt work anymore it will not read the Damn CD anymore,its not scratched or anything ,i just left it in for a night...

*I Did not update
*Its not the region
*I Did not change Language
*I didnt do anything to the disc (its not scratched at all)

Did fuckign WII brake my disc because i left it in FFS ? wth is this for bullshit console

(sorry for the cursing im frustrated)

and il be so happy wheni have my ps3 with gta 4

Okay i found out the problem,I think the WII does something to the DVDs i bought to make them unreadable

There from HEMA so there Big Time Junk (but cheap)

My sony DVDs dont have the Smallest problem (load like a real game)

so Ima go to HEMA and trowh those **** DVDs back on there counter!

Well it is known that cheap DVDs are crap to use anyways... even more so for the Wii. So you've only got yourself to blame for being a cheapass! (Saying so, because you're trying to save a few bucks on DVDs for copies, just to go and buy a PS3... HMMmm)

Anyways... Life lesson learnt by you!

Well it is known that cheap DVDs are crap to use anyways... even more so for the Wii. So you've only got yourself to blame for being a cheapass! (Saying so, because you're trying to save a few bucks on DVDs for copies, just to go and buy a PS3... HMMmm)

not really i myself always buy sony's +r (with Rw function)

but i run out of DVD's so i stole a phew DVD's of my dad Lol

No, the wii didn't do anything to your media. That would be both illogical and simply impossible as the wii's drive has no ability to write or modify a read-only media.

try better media, try a slower burn speed, and well - sometimes you just get a DRE. comes with the territory when you modify a console outside it's factory spec.
