I have been having problems reading disks with my d2pro installed.the drive clicks with most games (backup or original ) i need to turn the wii off and back on about 5-10 times. I bought the d2prog and installed the 1.3 firmware for the clicking and eject issue. i ran the firmware again to verify and it says it has the 1.3 . Now it reads less disks but originals seem to work better but the drive is still clicking. WTF can anyone shed some light onto this problem before i end my wii's life?
Thanks

From what your stating, it sounds like you have a broken tooth on one of the plastic wheels. If its making a constant clicking sound when inserting the disc, and sounds almost like its grinding, then thats most likely what your problem is, this is caused when you force a game in to the drive sometimes it can happen unintentionally without you realizing it, if you uninstall the D2Pro and try inserting a game and still get the clicking then I can verify that is exactly what your issue is. You may need a replacement. If this is not the case, post back and we will try to troubleshoot further.
Best of luck

its more likely you have a defective chip mate , i have had a few in for repair , once they have been taken out the drive responds fine , install the d2pro9 with the 1.1b firmware , and your problems will be sorted.
