i know you can rip out THE_CON_TMP but it look slike there are duplicates in the movies folder. look:

C01F.PMF 15.9mb
C01M.PMF 15.9mb
C02F.PMF 5.19mb
C02M.PMF 5.19mb

Just dummy the movies, and it should work fine.

im trying to find out whether we can rip out the "duplicates" and keep everything intact or if the "duplicates" are really different videos

the files with M in the name is for the Male Career Mode, F is for Female, so if you plan on playing career with a cutom male character, delete the F files ... and visa versa :)

well thats the whole thing. i dont know if theyre duplicates or just two different videos. i havent played through the game to know whether ive taken out anything or not by removing the so called duplicates

did anyone here be able to shrink the game to fit onto a 256mb ms? i tried to dummy all the files in the movies, sounds, and gamesharing folders, but it doesnt work. any1 have any suggestions?

I did... I didn't dummy any files at all. I just deleted the music, movies, gamesharing and update folders. I found that it would occasionally go to a black screen and not do anything... in that case, just quickly put your PSP to sleep for a second and then take it out again (might have to do this twice from time to time) and it'll start up from where you left off. Give it a shot!

I'm not normally into fighting games (Dead Or Alive is a cool series though), but this game was developed by the folks who did the sweet boxing game, Victorious Boxers. It has a fair amount of depth and a nice strategic element to it... too bad the player models weren't a bit more detailed. It also doesn't seem to react quite as quickly as a game of this type should, but it is still a good time.

i deleted those files and tried to load it up with umdemu .8c and it just froze at the umdemu iso select screen.... were there any files u left behind in the music or movie folder, or did u use a different loader?
