Hi guys. I have a couple quick questions having just got my homebrew channel up and running.

First of all is there a NES emulator for Wii yet? If so can it use the Wiimote for control just the VC NES games? If yes, is the compatability good?

Second of all if is it possable to take a VC NES game wad and change the game inside of it. EX: Take mario and pull out mario and replace it with MegaMan?

And last, is there a way to make a emulator have its own window (square) at the wii main menu?

Please let me know and thanks for your time.

I'm amazed that you found the Homebrew Channel but couldn't find the Nintendo Emulator for it.

Yes, there is a NES emulator, it is called FCE Ultra Wii and you can read about it here http://wiibrew.org/index.php?title=Homebrew_apps/FCE_Ultra_Wii

I'm fairly certain it could run any NES rom you threw at it and yes you can use the Wiimote to control your games with the unofficial version by Suloku (look at the bottom of the page)

I'm not sure if you can inject NES games into NES VC channels like you can with N64 games, but if you're running the emulator I can't see why you'd want to do that anyway.

Finally yes, I'm sure there is a way to install the NES emulator as a channel, but if you want to install all your homebrew as a channel, why bother running the Homebrew Channel anyway? Besides which IOS37 will probably screw up most unofficial channels when it is activated, so best to just stick with the Homebrew Channel and hope bushing and marcan and co can keep it working.

if you have a mod chip and gamecube control than use this: http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=54103

it's better cos you can download ANY game and put on it not just be limited to what is out on the VC. and do a search for a wii disc called 8640 roms i know 1 place wherem you can get it
