Hey all,

I recently installed my WiiKey (pain in the neck but i got it done). This is what i did and in order, maybe will help diagnose my problem:

I inserted 1.9s-config disc; it didn't read it
I rebooted, crossed my fingers and inserted No More Heroes, it loaded and i was able to play, save, reboot and continue from saved game.
I inserted 1.9s update; it loaded as a Gamecube game, it booted up and updated the chip. Test came back with 100%
I inserted We Ski and i got Error #1.
Rebooted
I Inserted Boom Bloxs, got Error #1.
Rebooted
I inserted Endels Ocean; worked like a charm

Can anyone tell me why i get Error #1 in those 2 games? When i downloaded it said it was NTSC (I AM in the US, Wii is NTSC) and it was the same place i got Endless Ocean.

Is there a patch i need to run on the iso's before i insert them? What am i doing wrong here? And any clue why the 1.9s-config doesn't boot?

Thanks in advance and my apologies for the noob question, i tried searching but couldn't find the answer.

By the way, this is what Error#1 is:

Error #1: Unauthorized device has been detected

Thanks again for any replies, i don't know what's causing this. :(

It could be the DVD's that you are using.

2 months ago I had a problem with Mario Kart, it would not work on a Memorex DVD and I tried 4 times and nothing (and I had no previous problems with other Wii games that I used Memorex). Then I inserted a TDK DVD and it worked, so now when I get a new wii game I have to test to see which DVD works, because some work on Memorex and some with TDK... it's weird but that could be your problem also... also remember to burn them at a slower rate ( i burn mine at 4) with IMGBRN or Nero

I have a Wiikit (Wiikey clone) and I have no problem playing Boom Blox or We Ski.

Hope this helps, Elm

Nevermind, i found out i have to update TWICE with 1.9s. That solved the problem. :)
