I dunno which to get. All I know is I have a GC2-D2C. I dunno which is better. The modchip + labour is 15$ apart. Help?

Oh yes, for a d2c, I'd recommend either the argon or d2pro. d2cpro is a clone. d2ckey is not but requires more wires and is no longer being updated. The 9-wire solutions of both the argon/d2pro chips will be easier to install.

Wasabi support has been some what unresponsive. For me a responsive team who always releases new firmware updates w/ new features and bug fixes is the chip to go with.

d2pro or the aragon for me, d2pro9 wire is also out and works fine with the d2cs
have installed around 15 d2pro9 wire in the last 4 days they all worked 100% and is updatable via dvd .

Hi, sorry but can I ask where everybody is buying their d2pro9's from? I'd love to get one from volumerate but they've stopped taking orders for less than 5 at a time. :( They were only ~$42 too :(

There are many other places other than volumerate. I hate waiting for volumerate/dealextreme shipping. They take their sweet time. Check the d2pro website for a list of resellers.

Thanks, are you sure though? I thought they were the cheapest place on the web for nearly everything they sell :confused:. Checking through that list now, still cant find anything close to VR's $42 but not finished yet. cheapest so far is eurasia at $62

In Ireland but usually these things are waaay cheaper to buy from china anyway. Still no change from VR as yet.

I thought the d2ckey was never actually supposed to be updateable and thats what the d2pro was for?
