View Full Version : Cannot Update My Wiikey to 1.9s on my 3.2E Wii

Hi.
I'm pretty much new to updating the wiikey.
I have no idea what firmware my WiiKey is in.
My Wii is 3.2E
I'm trying to update my WiiKey to 1.9s but the update disk isnt loading at all.
I've tried filechopping etc. Basically, I've tried everything i knew by searching around google.
My backups don't work so I'd figured that an update on the WiiKey should make it work again.
Also, I've tried using the recovery disk and that doesnt seem to work either.
Does anyone have any clues?

Sounds like there's something wrong with your wiikey if backups and the update disk don't work.

open it back up and check your connections.

i don't have the tools to open up my wii.
could there be any other software problems with my wii?

do originals still work ?
if not ? you need to open up your wii and have a look around , see if there are any dodgy connections , might even be a clone gone bad.

im pretty sure that it isnt a fake.
a family friend installed it for me.
i guess i'll have to get him to open it up for me again since i dont have the tools

get your friend to open it up ,and if you can post a close up of your install , we will be able to assist you better if we can see your install.
