100 Xbox 360's inlaid with mother-of-pearl being made for VIP gifts

Bill Gates recently gave a Xbox 360 inlaid with traditional Korean mother-of-pearl as a gift to the Korean president on a recent visit there. The Xbox was created by Kim Young-jun, the head of a manufacturing company called Gookbo. Microsoft were so impressed with the console they have asked Kim to make another 100 as VIP gifts. "We're discussing making mother-of-pearl Microsoft logos," said Kim.

The decoration is the handiwork of Kim Young-jun, the head of a manufacturing company called Gookbo. "I got a call from Microsoft Korea last month," Kim said. "They told me something about an Xbox, but I had no idea what that was. I thought they were talking about some kind of black box."

Microsoft was looking for a unique decoration representing traditional Korean beauty. Kim decorated the console with mother-of-pearl ume flowers and butterflies symbolizing patience and perseverance and treated the surface with a special substance. He entitled the final product "Peace".

"I'm expressing my hopes for world peace through the ume flowers and butterflies existing together in harmony," Kim said. He made three such Xboxes -- one for President Lee, one for Gates and another as a "just-in-case" spare, which he is holding onto himself.

Maybe, but I doubt the enscribing details are, so don't expect the fancy etchings back when you send it in for repair.

Yes you can talk **** about the Xbox360 RROD mean while you cant even spell "beautiful" good job!I wouldn't expect some one with a brain to type that anyway.

Its amazing at how MS can come up with all these Mother of pearl cases, Diamond encrusted cases, Replacing cases that were erased blah blah blah...

Yet.. the insides still suck? Maybe stop worrying about making things pretty *cough vista Cough* and make them work for longer then a week? maybe?

And for those that come into these threads just to post and attack people who misspell a word or get some letters jumbled while typing quickly.....
At least we have better things to do then sit here a proof read and make sure what we type on a pointless forum is spelled correctly then make ourselves feel superior by telling other people they are stupid for hitting the wrong key on a keyboard where the letters are less then millimeters away from each other :)

Also.. spell check takes more time that we can be using for.. I dont know.. Our real lives

What more amazing is that despite very few if any complaints of failures for Falcon boards the fanboys still cant let it go.

As for the case its quite pretty, I would bet it would probably sell pretty well in Asia if they put it on the market. If it wasnt much more than an elite, I'd get one.
