Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski recently if Gears of War 2 will feature four-player co-op. Cliff replied saying "We're not announcing anything about co-op at this time, we'll probably get around to it around E3 time, but rest assured, it will be bigger and better." The game is set for release in November.

"The multiplayer is incredibly robust," he continued. "We're not saying too much about it right now due to embargoes and whatnot, but lots of multiplayer maps, lots of modes. We'll have the multiplayer functionality that gamers have come to expect this day and age."

Bigger,Badder Gears Has to have a Four Player Co-op,That'll be so cool.I hope they add the map editing tool like in gears of war (pc version) in GOW2.Hopefully we can get on Vehicles on online play, since the maps will be bigger and 8 on 8 online play as well.Damn Im getting way ahead of myself!
Cliffy B ...Hope you consider all thats said, in GOW2.

On Xbox.com's games list it states Gears 2 has 2-4 online co-op lmao :D

lets see if the multiplayer is as robust as resistance2.so far R2 8player co-op campaign sounds sick.!!:D
