The announcements around Banjo-Kazooie interest me alot otherwise was looking forward to too human but the constant delays is putting me off hugely. I bought a 360 more than 12 months ago for too human and yet again delayed.

You're joking right?? Why buy 360 for a game that didn't even have a release date? All I remember was that it was going to be released 2009 so it looks like they are releasing it early.

Why did they put Pre-Order DLC in the upcoming game release list? Ughhhh..... yeah.
Other than Gears 2 (which I am really waiting for now) and possibly Banjo (provided Rare doesn't screw this up too) the lineup looks rather weak. Might give Fable 2 a shot but after the hype of the first I won't give in to the hype this time around.
I thought Alan Wake might have made it to this list but it was dropped back to 2009, although who is surprised honestly?
After doing well with JRPG releases last year did MS change their direction again? Other than Fable (Too Human IS NOT RPG, no matter what they try to feed you with) they seem to have dropped in the same hole Sony has.
Jeez, enough with the Westernized ****. No wonder they sell like **** in Japan.
Edit - Just read this on another site and if true, I feel much better now about this years lineup.
I recently updated the 360 releases thread using IGN info. A few days back, IGN updated their U.S. release list and unexpectantly both Tales of Vesperia and Infinite Undiscovery for solid release dates. Tales of Vesperia will come out on August 19th and Infinite Undiscovery will come out ten days later on August 29th. The issue is I can't find anyone else pushing those same release dates anywhere on the net. Normally I would brush off a lone site giving a release date but this is IGN, and they're very reliable. How much weight do you think these dates hold?
If true, this would put a big focus on RPGs all summer and going into the fall since Operation Darkness comes out in June, Spectral Force 3 in July, Infinite Undiscovery and Tales of Vesperia in August, Age of Conan and Sacred 2 in September, Fallout 3 and Fable 2 in October, the possibility of Rise of the Argonauts and Champions Online making this year(pobably not though), plus the already released Lost Odyssey back in February.

That's a terrible lineup, I hope they have got more planned and thats just a small excerpt.
I'm still looking forward to banjo, even if they are going to bastardise it with stupid controls.
Oh, and europe doesn't have a "holiday season". ;p

JRPG didn't change the fate of MS in Japan a bit. Blue Dragon pushed the console sales a bit but Lost Odyssey was lost altogether.

Not just that game but it was in my mind most at the time. And official xbox magazine in the U.K. had it for a march 07 release date at the time and I was not aware of the duke nukem style delays it had suffured and has continued to suffer.

Like usual, it is a incomplete list. We always have games that seem to pop up out of nowhere and some of them end up being well worth playing. Or they simply don't list a game till it's about to be launched. This is why I personally like to use game sites like gamestop, even though the release dates they use aren't always correct. Atleast the release dates are generally within the ball park.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (September 16th 2008)
The Bourne Conspiracy (June 3rd 2008)
Fallout 3 (October 7th 2008)
Tales of Vesperia (August 19th 2008)
Spectral Force 3 (July 29th 2008)
Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars (May 27th 2008)
Unreal Tournament 3 (July 7th 2008)
Again, this is stuff listed from gamestop and we all know that for the most part you can't trust the dates half the time but then again sometimes they are right. Those above games are a few I'm looking forward to, especially Star Wars since it looks like it'll be fun and Tales of Vesperia because I like the Tales series of games.

uhm,i think that line up are for 360 exclusives. the ones u mentioned above are not exclusives, they are multi, hence, why they werent on the list.if that was the case, theres no mention of soul caliber4, july 29th,but its multi. the only game u mentioned thats exclusive(and im pretty sure its a timed exclusive,is tales of vesperia) i for one think thats a horrible lineup for exlcusives for 360 this year. only one im looking for(and everyone with a 360 of course) is gears2. i "might" pick up NG2,but i dont know. it seems like it will be a good game, but they didnt seem to up the gfx from NGSigma for ps3. but i might get it off gamefly or something. no wonder ps3 has a much killer line-up this year.if theres no more delays,ps3 has almost an exclusive game each month this year.

People that buy consoles only for the AAA games are retarded as fuc.k
You buy consoles to have fun with friends on games like fifa or madden. You buy consoles for the AAA games but also for the other games that are AAA for you. Fuc.k you all.

It doesn't really mention exclusives in the original article or on here. Doesn't matter though, I agree with XuserBOX, you buy the consoles for the fun not just for the AAA titles and especially not just because it's "exclusive". I don't care for his tone but the message of gaming because it's fun is there. The exclusive crap is just corporate greed at it's finest, "want to play this game? buy this console!". Can't we all just get along with a PSWii60? =P

Only 3 titles there worth purchasing; i'd sell my Xbox for MGS4 and MGO2 if it wasn't for Gears 2

Isn't it strange, given the reputation for specific gametypes that the 360 is labelled with, that the PS3 exclusive lineup goes something like:
april-Racer
may-Shooter
june-Shooter
sept-Shooter
oct-Platformer
nov-Shooter
dec-Racer
feb09-Shooter
Compare that to the 360 lineup as announced and you have GoW2 as the shooter, a couple of RPG's, a platformer, a beat'em'up and a virtual life adventure (as defined by gamerankings) with Viva Pinanta.
If you're a shooter/racer fan, the PS3 is definately the machine to go for. If your tastes are a little more varied, than the 360 is the one to go for.
