Gametrailers credibility shot. Opinions?

It says "X" "triangle" and "square" in the Xbox 360 version!

They used the PS3 for both sides and dumbded down one of them.

Mine personally? The site is dead to me and all credibility is shot.

One comparison, both from the PS3 version, PS3 side dumbed down to make 360 side look better (which is still PS3 video). When it is realized and brought up the video is removed. I think it speaks for itself.

The video was for the game "Grid" and altered video does not happen on accident.

Even if corrected and shown with PS3 vs 360 video who is to say they wouldn't just dumb the PS3 version down again? Not to mention how many times was this done before?

Never mind this Evolution. He's not yet evolved into an adult.

Many gametrailer videos are done by users trying to get free crap. Everything you watch there that is not an official trailer from the game publishers should be questioned. If you think it's crap and you call it out, you'll get lots of responses like above though.

No, the credibility is not shot. It was clearly just an error in editing and there was no deliberate attempt to make one platform look worse than the other.

However, what it does do is allow the Playtards excuse the fact that, time after time, the PS3 is shown to be the less competent game machine in graphical terms. While GT.com is already, in those Playtards minds, "biased", this is a card that they will play again and again.

I suppose the unfortunate thing is that Gamershyde, Eurogamer, Gamevideos, IGN and others who do or talk about comparisons of multiplatform games are also "biased" in the eyes of the Playtards. ;)

There seems to be a bunker mentality going on here.

The one plus from all of this is that we can now dismiss the GT.com comments about Uncharted being the best looking console game to date. This is a line that is oft spouted by Playtards, using GT as "proof" of that claim, when the game is clearly just a pretty action adventure that in no way defines "Next-Gen" graphics.

Now that GT.com has been compromised, we can definately dismiss that opinion of Uncharted going forward.
