Tales of eternia in a 512mb ms

hi, ive the tales of eternia already patched in english, uncompressed its some of 840 mb....but i'd like to fit into a 512mb ms. Id like to rip only the sound and remains the movie....Its possible someone to help me? In other....i saw that someone has problems freezing at namco screens and in other part of the game...what is it?thanks

Ive tried quite a few times, and I cant get it to get past the namco screens, with the english patch or not. I just cant manage to shrink it successfully to 512. I've read every post i can find on it and hear a few stores. I wish I could get as far as to have my game freeze durring gameplay but im stuck at namco..

I used the ripkit to easily get all the dummies i needed and then erased the .v files and dummied them as per the 256 memstick post on this forum.
No luck.

I dont think im going to get it working, no clue why not

Have your translated or non translated tales of eternia iso (from your bought umd):
- Extract it with winrar in a folder
- Go to PSP_GAME\USRDIR\dat
- delete b.v, s.v & fc.v
- open notepad e create 3 files each one empty (o bytes) and called b.v, s.v & fc.v
- repack the iso with umdgen (i used also vcdrom 3.6 and it works a time, the second one not)
- put the iso in the iso folder in your psp
- open devhook 0.22
- opened devhook, DONT TOUCH ANY BUTTON BUT ONLY X OR 0 (If you have the jap psp) to start the game.

the original size is 860mb
the ripped one is 460 mb
the patch is in a thread in that forum try searc taleas of eternia patch from skunk25

will it jump to more mb if I patch with the english patch? right now I have 446mb

yes, you must rip the iso after you pathced it with the english patch!
