this will be awesome for the crossplatform aspect of play.....personally i dont like the FF series but this is a good thing for the 360

/FLAME ON 100+ hours of gameplay is not the type of game you wanna play on the fragile xbox360 hardware + its kinda of quiet game (no loud explosions & crashes) therefore it needs near silent console to enjoy it.this is what i think anyway. /FLAME ON

i dont know why people buy this, or any other MONTHLY payment MMORPG's anymore. arent there enough games out there to kep on with the same game endlessly? i would get this if it were a matter of buying the game one time. but i dont think final fantasy comes even close to paying monthly for. no game does. none. not even the greatest game in the world. sorry.

What is different about this version from the one that has been out for months now? Is this (http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=67057) not the same thing?

That's exactly what I was going to ask. I saw this for sale on the Walmart site for a few months now...

They are changing the case for it with better artwork and are releasing a version update in june so i guess.. umm.. its all the same. but for people who are starting out its worth it.

I got my $1.99 at gamestop trial for this a few weeks back and it is a good game. Leveling takes forever, but whats that matter ina game that never ends.

And to the whiner about why people pay for stuff like this...
Because running around in circles shooting the same people over and over hearing the same background voices over and over gets tiring to some of us :) Some of us like challenges that involve more then being able to slightly aim a crosshair

its complete with every add on, just like a complete pack of command & conquers or any other game that does add ons.

Plus its not doing the same thing over & over theres enough content in here to keep anyone going for a long long time without being repetititve.
