As of today:

FW 1.52
Software 2.42

(Seems supercard.cn is down)

Works great!

You have to click on the roms to change setteings for each rom.
Choos SD/CF to run from SD/CF and save on SD/CF

Do you think you could upload it somewhere? If you have it and supercard.cn is down how is anyone else going to get it?

I wouldnt download it anywhere except for the website. Who knows with all the bricking around. The only way to be sure it isn't gonna wreck your DS/SC is to get it off supercard.cn

On the real copy of Castlevania, the beginning of the intro is always a little choppy, but then it gets better...maybe its not your cf card?

There is nothing wrong with your CF, Romman mentioned something about the Castlevania intro running choppy, but he said the game pays fine. Also Kirby Canvas still patches to 0 bytes, but most of the 512mbit games I tried all work and load very fast, Supercard is worth every penny time to get a 2 GB SD.

Has anyone upgraded using the files provided by Grey_fox's links? Just want to confirm that they're clean. Supercard website still says too many users.

Reports say that the new M3 software/firmware gets Splinter Cell and Kirby working.. Dunno what else new work over there..

Though I still like Supercard's saving system much better than M3's mandatory 1mb/save files

that is also updated on M3, only 257k/save file (now up to 100 of them too)

any rate, I updated my SC SD with the files posted to http://www.tehskeen.net/ and they are 100% clean. Thanks Brakken ;)

The new sc convert program doesn't seem to create the .sav files that the supecard website says it will. I have the 'saver' patch checked, I tried it with out it checked also. Does it get created when the rom runs on the DS.

no, the save file should be created when you patch the rom with the supercard software. Once you've opened your rom in the SC program, right-clikc the ROM, choose properties and make sure that you have selected the SD card as the save and entry location.

Please explain what the new firmware does/allows SC owners to do. Full compatibility? Save to SD/CF card for all games?

Regardless, still can't import my save properly on either GBA (5% compatibility) or NDS (works find with supercard using SaTa save backup and some append of blank dummy files to get it to 256kb)

The new firmwire isn't perfect but it's quite nice. It retains the ability to run off the onboard RAM rather than direct from the SD/CF card. So far the only game I've encountered where that might be a good idea is Star Wars 3, which has sprite flickering when run from SD card. But games like Advanced Wars Dual Strike run perfectly. Yugioh works very well too.

Hi,

I would like to know if someone managed to run lost in blue(US), i get a black screen after the boot...
i tried with all 3 kinds of ds save cartridge : 4ko,64ko and 2mo even if i setted the game to keep the savegame on the sd cart.
My guess is that the game freeze when he try to find something in the existing savegame and as the savegame created my the SC software is empty it freeze.

Many thanks !!

There are alot of bad roms out there. I think I have both a bad Wario Ware (U) and (E). Quite disappointing, but that's why they don't work.

Use the Pocketheaven list.

http://releases.pocketheaven.com/

Also use "Nintenren" from http://www.nintenren.com/
to rename your roms (it's a GBA/NDS/GBC rom renamer)

DjoeN, thanks for the link. That program confirmed that several of my ROMs were bad dumps later nuked. Now the question is, are there patched to fix my nuked dumps to patch them into good dumps?

Has anyone tried Trace Memory (US)?

It crashes in chapter 2 when you look at the portrait at the end of the hall, can anyone confirm this or do I have a bad dump (Dump confirmed with OLL and Advanscene's DS list)?

I've experimented with this one and it doesn't work (crashes as stated above) if it's run from the SD card, however it works fine (or at least gets past the crash at the beginning of CH2) if you run it from the SC's memory and save to the SD card.

Hi, ive updated my firmware for CF SC, all the functions work except the one that loads the rom in 1 sec. it still goes slow as before.. anyone knows a solution?

If it is GBA game it will load the same, DS games you will still see the numbers scolling as the game loads up, but the time should be 2 to 3 secs at max. IS it taking forever for a GBA game or DS game? If for a DS game are you sure you flashed it (you can check your firmware version by holding down both shoulder buttons when you boot up the ds with either Superpass or flashme).

In the supercard patching software, have you right clicked on the files (within the software) and selected to load of SD card for both options???

Glen.
