you must a be a hardcore 2D Beat 'em Up fan to like this game.

Yeah I find it boring too. Bleach 2 is far more beautiful and fun to play, in my opinion.

id say darkstalkers chronicles is a much better 2d fighting game. the graphics of guilty gear were sub par of what a psp game should be imo.

I've got both games but got Darkstalkers first. Since playing Guilty Gear I can't play Darkstalkers. The graphics and gameplay are GBA standard.

I did, with some fantastic games (Advance Wars 2, Mario Kart, Golden Sun etc) but I sold it when I got a PSP.

My favorite fighting game on the PSP is Last Blade 2 running on NeoCDPSP emulator v0.5u4. As long as you unzip it first, it runs great (never below 50fps) and the game mechanics are perfect! One of the best looking and satisfying Neo CD games that I've tried, and I'm not even that big of a 2D fighting fan, though Iloved the Street Fighter series as a teen.
It's a sword game like Guilty Gear, but with more style and artistic talent involved. The sharp defense system and less than excessive use of magic combined with an intuitive 4 button control scheme are standout features.

Yes, one of THE best DC games out there. Is getting this working on a 32mb stick possible? Id love to play it again, mobile would be great!

The thing that make GG so great and greater than the NeoGeo roms, is that the game was designed for the psp controls, that means that you are less likely to miss a special attack, because of the pad.

Sorry to not get back to you sooner on this. You probably have the answer by now anyway.
Both Last Blade 1 and 2 are rather large, even zipped and without music take well over 60MB each. Also, the loading times are so long (stops to load for a minute between and during fights) for those games when using zipped files in NeoCD .05u4 that you wouldn't enjoy playing at all...
Unzipped, however, you should be able to get both 1 and 2 on a 256mb stick with maybe one of them having music and the other with no music. Last Blade 1 is 80.7 MB zipped (zip file contains .mp3 music)
I currently have Last Blade 1&2, , Metal Slug1&2, Top hunter, Magician Lord, Viewpoint, and Pulstar - these unzipped and with music in a separate NEOCD.mp3 folder - as well as a few small games such as Ghost Pilots without music, all on one 1GB stick.
Removing the music and zipping all the above except for Last Blade 1&2 would allow one to have all games running smoothly from one 512MB stick. Metal Slug 1&2 run surprisingly well zipped, so you MIGHT be able to fit MSLUG 1 on the 32MB stick if the music is removed from the zip file, but don't get your hopes up. however you can definitely fit Magician Lord (or 1-2 of dozens of the smaller games on a 32MB stick).
The .mp3 music files (usually 15-25 of them) for almost every Neo CD game takes up more space than the game itself.

Last blade controls almost perfectly - much better than, say any of the fighting games for Genesis or SNES emulators- because you don't have to use the pad at all! The analog nub lets me do diagonal jumping and circular energy attacks as well as with an arcade joystick, and the buttons are extremely responsive which allows for chained combos.
Even Metal Slug 1&2 control perfectly with the analog nub. It's heaven I tell you, try it and you won't be disappointed! (just remember to use Neocdpsp 0.5u4 or later)
