Huuu, It seems total another stuff from the .nfo file in the Phoenix RAR pack...
I've installed appleX modchip with a switch that can turn off my modchip, and i wanna make my xbox debugable, how should i do?
Yes this is also the problem i had, i have downloaded the org file from the pheonixwebsite and in the .nfo file the instructions are totally different so now i don't know what is the org way. I read different story's on different sites bit i think that i'm here on the right site ;)

There does seem to be a bit of confussion for people who read the Phonix Loader NFO. Let me quickly sum up the differences.
First of all the NFO outlines the procedure involves for installing a DIFFERNT version of the Phoenix Loader. It uses the 'legal' release that does NOT come with recquired files. These files can be added and will allow it to work just fine. My tutorial is for use with the 'Signed Phoenix Loader 1.3' which contains all the files already (which is why it also isnt hosted on MaxConsole).
The NFO also only describes the process ONLY for the actuall installation of the Phoenix Loader and NOT the re or post steps (such as being able to FTP to the Xbox (pre) and editing the MSDash for use under EvoX (post)).

NOTE
I am currently working on an update for the tutorial which will contain a few bug fixes as well as a MAJOR fix to the MSDash editing procedure.

****... that's why my msdashboard isn't working.... it say nowhere into my tutorial to sign it... (might be obvious for you, but I wasn't thinking of that because it's original)

Yeah I originally left the signing process out of my tutorial by accident. I hink I did write it originally and then I somehow deleted it.

hmm.. well the tutorial I followed is the one from xbox-scene.com... I dunno if it's yours, but there is only 2 things thats your's have that they don't. The fact that you musn't search for all 3 string at a time (for modifying xboxdash.xbe), what I mean is that they say that only 1 will work, but 2 worked on mine so I modded both... and the fact that you must sign it... I shall post it

Hi , i modded my xbox with the pheonix bios loader and the swap trick, all works well, except for the original xboxdash that is on e/ !!
I edited the file with xvi32 and signed it using the XBE_Dump+font, but it doesn't boot, i only get a black screen.
What is the problem here??
Edit: i edited the xbox dash again and i found an other instant of xtf , i fixed it and now if i select ms dashboard it gives me the big X with microsoft under it and then i get evox again, so no go with the msdash!!
this is an error i get while signing :
Section: 0 Hash: fail -> corrected
Section: 1 Hash: pass -> corrected
Section: 2 Hash: pass -> corrected
Section: 3 Hash: pass -> corrected
Section: 4 Hash: pass -> corrected
